FIELD: shoe industry. SUBSTANCE: hell has protrusion extending along predetermined outer portion and made from flexible strong material. Protrusion has straight side surfaces arranged in dovetail manner one with respect to the other. Slot is extending along outer surface of protrusion. Longitudinal recess with straight sides is disposed on shield wall adjoining rear outer surface of heel. Cross-section of longitudinal recess is also shaped as dovetail. Protrusion is engageable with shield recess and is connected with this recess through wedging member disposed in slot of protrusion. EFFECT: increased efficiency in protecting against mudding, simplified mounting and dismantling of shield combined with required rigidity of attachment. 4 cl, 2 dwg
