FIELD: civil engineering. SUBSTANCE: concrete pump hopper has a shaft installed in hopper casing. The shaft has sealing to prevent concrete against entering shaft bearings. A closing device enabling to oscillate is installed on the shaft. The sealing is made in the form of two concentric split rings and T-shaped gasket located between the rings and attached by vulcanization. One ring is connected to casing of the hopper. Another one is connected to the shaft using keys installed in splits of the rings. The sealing rings are made of metal. Besides, the rings may be made of polymeric material.
