FIELD: turbine engineering. SUBSTANCE: branch pipe is made up as axially-radial diffuser mounted inside the housing. The outer rim of the diffuser is sectioned. The sections are mounted with a spaced relation with respect to each other. The outlet parts of the next sections are shifted in the direction to the axis of the diffuser with respect to the outlet part of the previous section. The ring passages defined in so manner connect the flowing part of the axially-radial diffuser with the space between the housing and the outer rim. EFFECT: improved design. 2 dwg
