FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: open-hearth furnace charging machine has a bridge with a mechanism for its movement, drive bogie moving along the bridge. The bogie is provided with front drive wheels, rear driven wheels and additional wheels. The additional wheels are installed before the rear driven wheels at a distance from them equal to 0.2 to 0.3 of the distance between the vertical axles of the drive and driven wheels. The driven wheels are engageable with the upper rail, and the additional wheels - with the lower rail. The raceways of each pair of driven and additional wheels are in the same vertical plane. The additional wheels are mounted on individual axles and secured in bodies with stops on the side surfaces of the bogie frames. EFFECT: improved design. 7 dwg
