METHOD FOR WASHING-UP SAPROPEL ON FIELDS Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves washing-up sapropel pulp on the field, dehydrating and plowing-in the sapropel fertilizer. Washing-up includes changing the pulp consistency at the beginning of the process from 0.01-3 to 3.1-100 wt.-% and from 3.1-100 to 0.01-3 wt.-% at its end. Sapropel may be alternately delivered from different holes of the distributing pulp conduit and/or additional partitions may be installed on the wash-up area. Partitions may be directed either longitudinally or crosswise and provided with adjustable holes. Pulp delivery may be controlled by changing the size of holes in crosswise partitions. The latter may be made either of earth or of a sectional structures. Dehydration may be carried out wit the use of coagulants and/or flocculants, also by freezing. Before washing-up, the surface of the wash-up area may be partly or completely loosened and/or drained. Plowing-in may be carried out after levelling down the earth partitions.
