FIELD: agriculture and silviculture. SUBSTANCE: 10-40 days after planting and rooting of plants in a container, fertilizer is delivered to each plant in the middle part of the container. Within the entire period of vegetation the fertilizer is metered out at the rate of 8-15 mg/h in a relation of N:P2O5:K2O 3:1:4 20:16:10. The fertilizer is delivered from an osmotic or diffusion device. One device may be replaced by a group of devices ensuring a preset productivity or by a group of devices metering out the individual nutrition components at the same productivity. The rated mass of nutrition elements may exceed the required amount which provides for the delivery of fertilizer also after planting the seedlings into their permanent location. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 5 cl, 4 tbl
