FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: hothouse comprises an enclosure with plant-growing trays, a ventilation and heating system, light sources, and temperature transmitters. The ventilation system has an air conduit whose inlet can be connected to a source of air enriched with a carbon dioxide gas. Connected to the air conduit successively along the air flow are a pipeline brought out of the hothouse and perforated outlet pipes also brought out of the hothouse and accommodated in frameworks. Water-spraying nozzles are installed in outlet pipes. Air conduit inlet and outlets from the hothouse are equipped with gate valves. The evaporation cooling and additional air moistening systems are mounted on frameworks under the lower trays. Ventilation windows are secured on the hothouse enclosure. Gate valves, ventilation windows, nozzles, and evaporation cooling and additional moistening systems are connected with their operating mechanisms which latter are linked with the temperature transmitter via a control unit. EFFECT: higher standard and reduced duration of ventilation due to diminished changes in composition of hothouse air. 3 dwg
