METHOD FOR CONTROL OF CONVERTER FROM ALTERNATING VOLTAGE TO STABILIZED DIRECT VOLTAGE Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

Abstract RU 2041553 C1

FIELD: secondary power supplies. SUBSTANCE: device has power switch 1, capacitor filter 2 in input circuit of converter, charging diode 3 for smoothing capacitor of 2, choke 4 in input circuit of converter, choke 5 in output circuit of converter, current by-pass 6, input voltage sensor 7, output direct voltage sensor 8, rectifying bridge 9, high-frequency smoothing capacitor 10. Input of first comparison circuit 16 receives voltage from output direct voltage sensor 8 as well as reference voltage. First differential signal Δu1 is generated at output of comparison circuit 16. Input of second comparison circuit 17 receives signal from current sensor (current by-pass 6) which is proportional to current used by converter. In addition second comparison circuit receives signal from input voltage sensor 7. This results in generation of second differential signal Δu2 at output of comparison circuit 17. Two differential signals are received by signal processing circuit 18 which has saw-tooth voltage generator 19, which is controlled by voltage, voltage comparator 20, pulse generator 21 for control of power switch 1. Device provides possibility to stabilize direct output voltage. Sine-shaped current is generated by one power switch. EFFECT: decreased weight and size, increased reliability, increased efficiency, increased functional capabilities. 4 cl, 5 dwg
