FIELD: folding furniture. SUBSTANCE: folding piece of furniture is comprised of a base and a tabletop articulated thereto by one side. The base consists of U-shaped members successively articulated to one another with vertical uprights carrying articulated joints. Cross-members of one pair of U-shaped members are made of folding parts articulated to one another with a provision for turning in and out. The reverse side of the tabletop has sockets while the end surfaces of the base have tenons interacting with said sockets for fixing the furniture in folded position. The mating side surfaces of tenons ad sockets may be skewed. EFFECT: improved design. 4 cl, 4 dwg
