FIELD: wood-working industry. SUBSTANCE: universal wood-working machine has bed 1, jointing table 2,3, shifting gage platform 4, knife shaft 5 located on frame 7 one end of which is hinged to bed 1, drive 8 and clamp 34. The jointing table is made of two parts: front 2 and back 3. Some of their ends are hinged on bed 1 with axles 12,14. Other ends are fastened at equal distances from axles 12,14 of the hinges by means of tractions 15, 16 hinged with equal-arm lever 21 on which fixed handle 22 is mounted. Axle 25 of equal-arm lever 21 is connected with bed 1. Frame 7 and the fastened end of back part 3 of the jointing table are hinged along one axle 12. The other side of back part 3 is mounted at the level of the knife edge of knife shaft 5 and is connected on both sides with frame 7 by planks 26,27 with notches having catches 30 of its position on frame 7. Shifting gage platform 4 is fixed by means of cantilevers 31 on the jointing table over knife shaft 5 parallel to the table plane with the possibility of perpendicular shifting. Clamp 34 is set up under front part 2 of the jointing table for interacting with processed workpiece 42 and is made as spring-loaded lever 34 having roller 40 for possible plugging by plug 35.
