FIELD: raw material processing. SUBSTANCE: optimum size of particles of vegetable origin from 0.002 to 10 mm with humidity of 4 to 15 per cent is chosen. The humicelluloses of particles of the vegetable origin precipitating during the pressing are used as a binder. In the zone of shaping a briquet the mixture is thickened at the volume ratio from 4:1 to 7:1. The temperature is kept in the range of 160-350 C. The device has chambers of shaping. The chamber for the briquet pressing is made as two many-sided truncated pyramids connected along the perimeter of the small bases.
