FIELD: locks. SUBSTANCE: magnetic latch has a casing, accommodating a yoke, and a key with magnets. The yoke has locking bars positioned in its longitudinal openings. The bars are installed for rocking on a bearing member made as a ring located in the yoke annular groove. At least one of the bars is bent in its bearing part. The working ends of the bars are positioned in openings made in the casing end face wall. These openings represent annular and radial grooves. To bring the catch in the "Open" position, it is necessary to apply the key to the yoke. The orienting magnets turn the bars on the bearing ring in such a way that they do not prevent rotation of the yoke in the casing. The latch is shifted to the "Closed" position by detaching the key from the yoke. The latch can be recorded by rearrangement of the magnets and replacement of the rods with those of another configuration. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 4 dwg
