ZIGZAG CHUTE Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: materials handling; loading of easy-to-damage products into stores. SUBSTANCE: zigzag chute has drive in form of winch 1 with flexible tie-rod 2 and sections 6 suspended from carrying structure, one over the other, and coupled by means of horizontal axles. Lower section 6 is fixed on tie-rod 2, and other sections are installed for changing their inclination. Chute has section fixing arrangement in form of spring- loaded hook-shaped pawls with mouth pointed towards above-indicated horizontal axle and furnished with tail piece. The latter is arranged for engagement with underlaying section. Place of connection of each section with flexible tie-rod 2 is displaced relative to middle of section towards pawl attachment side. Horn of lower section pawl hook is made of flexible material, and horn of each pawl of upper sections is furnished with tip made of flexible material. EFFECT: enhanced safety of products in loading. 6 dwg
