FIELD: mining industry; scraper conveyors for faces. SUBSTANCE: face scraper conveyor has working and idle troughs, end sections with drive or return sprockets, traction member consisting of upper and lower chains with axles secured on chain sections, and cross-members with scrapers secured on axles. Conveyor has one or two angle sections with return sprockets. Fitted on end sections of troughs are stops. Scrapers, coming into engagement with stops, change their position. For this purpose special steps are made on scrapers. Mounted on cross-members are scraper position locks to fix scrapers in non-working position. Axle-to-axle distance between upper and lower sprockets fitted on one end of conveyor is equal to distance between cross-member-to-chain attachment axles.
