FIELD: excavation machine building. SUBSTANCE: vertical stands of a gantry are detachable with respect to chassis frames rigidly fastened to carrying frame. A boom with a shovel and rotary mechanism is hinged to the gantry. Hydraulic cylinder of boom drive is hinged to a vertical stand. The cylinder is located on the level below upper section of track outline. Gantry fastening to chassis frames unloads carrying frame from loads acting on operation equipment. This fact together with hinge location at the level below upper section of track outline result in change of center of mass of the unit. EFFECT: increased stability of the machine and improved pressure curve representing chassis pressure to soil. 4 dwg
