FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: carburetor has housing 1 with main flowing passageway 2, throttle slide valve 3 mounted for movement across passage 2, float chamber 16, main batching system with main fuel nozzle 9, idle system with idle nozzle 18, sprayer 8 with an orifice, batching needle 6 received in the orifice to define either ring or C-shaped space, and device for securing needle 6 to slide valve 3. Needle 6 is made up as a cylindrical rod having longitudinal groove 1 which is spread up to the bottom face of the needle and positioned at the part interacting with sprayer 8. The width of the groove is constant and depth of the groove increases with approaching bottom face of needle 6. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 4 dwg
