FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves dehumidifying the flow of compressed filtered air, blowing the intermediate and outer cavities of the separator. To produce hyperoxic mixture as the end product of separation with maximum oxygen concentration, the air flow is supplied inside the separator fibers. The hyperoxic mixture is produced, purified by removing carbon dioxide and supplied to the consumer. To improve hypoxic mixture as end product, the air flow is supplied into the intermediate cavity of the separator with maximum flow rate. The produced hypoxic mixture is moistened and delivered to the consumer. The device implementing the method, has additionally a two-positioned periodic gas feeder, carbon dioxide absorber and separator with additional inlet and perforated tube hermetically connecting the main inlet of the separator with the separator intermediate cavity. Dehumidifying device inlet is connected with filter outlet and its outlet is connected with the periodic gas feeder inlet. The periodic gas feeder has two outlets communicating with the outer cavities through the additional inlet and outlet of the separator, respectively. The third outlet is connected with the main inlet of the separator which outlet from the intermediate cavities is connected to the consumer through the moistening device and carbon oxide absorber.
