FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: in process of cutting of gear wheels, that forms hypoidal gear box, rolling motion is exercised alternately in accordance with given analytical dependance, that allows to cut precise shapes of circular teeth in middle cross-section. Alternative motion of rolling is realized by teeth-working machines with modificators of rolling or by computer controlled machines. EFFECT: increased production. 4 dwg, 1 tbl
