FIELD: production of ceramic articles. SUBSTANCE: installation comprises successively-arranged receiving conveyor, layer turnover device and layer shaper, all these being arranged parallel to the receiving conveyor, a transfer mechanism, a transporter and a reloading device for transferring a layer of green bricks onto a kiln car with a drive trolley capable of moving over guides and carrying a hoisting grip. The device has a transverse conveyor, ejector and longitudinal drive trolley capable of moving over guides, the layer turnover device is positioned on the layer shaper being kinematically linked therewith; the drive trolley with the hoisting grip and its guides are installed on the longitudinal drive trolley square to its longitudinal axis, the transverse conveyor is positioned square to the longitudinal axles of the receiving conveyor and layer shaper and interconnected with the receiving conveyor by the transporter and with the turnover device, by means of the ejector installed coaxially with the layer shaper above the transverse conveyor. The longitudinal drive trolley is disposed above the kiln car and the layer shaper, and is interconnected therewith by means of hoisting grips installed on the drive trolley.
