FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: on-load voltage regulation is effected by means of phase control of differentially connected parallel thyristors. Control pulses are generated for each thyristor during working voltage half-cycle of respective thyristor depending on integral of difference square of supply voltage and specified reference value measured during idle half-cycle of voltage so that desired RMS value of voltage is maintained across load. With fixture turned on, regulator affords stepless increase of voltage across load. EFFECT: improved regulation accuracy of voltage across load. 3 dwg
