FIELD: geophysics. SUBSTANCE: method for geoelectric prospecting provides for excitation of multifrequency sounding signal and variation of carrier frequency from radio pulse to radio pulse successively according to preset law. Sounding signal before its radiation is manipulated by phase through 180 deg. Sounding phase-manipulated signal is radiated, and reflected phase-manipulated signal is received. Converting it by frequency, voltage of informediate (difference) frequency is separated. Signal is multiplied by sounding phase-manipulated signal. Separated from received resulting vibration is harmonic voltage. Phase difference between harmonic voltage and local oscillator voltage is measured, and function of dependance of phase difference value on number of radio pulse and its correlation characteristics are also measured. Properties of geological bodies of enclosing rocks are determined by measured values. Simultaneously, correlation processing of sounding and reflected phase-manipulated signals is accomplished. Delay time of reflected signal with respect to sounding signal is determined by the maximum value of correlation function. Depth of occurrence of geological body is determined by delay time value. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
