FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: gripper has a brush housing with a holecatcher placed on the manipulator arm, pin holders for the rotary clamping members mounted in the housing and a spring-loaded rod conjugated with the gripping jaws and with the drive in the form of a piston cylinder. The new feature of the gripper lies in the fact that the gripping jaws are made eccentric in the form of bell-cranks interacting with the conic surfaces of the spring-loaded rod and with the article in order to use a spring for the preliminary clamping of the article, the article weight for the final clamping and a drive for the article release. A piston cylinder of one-sided action is used as a drive variant. EFFECT: simpler design. 5 dwg
