FIELD: transportation of concrete and mortars to the point of placement. SUBSTANCE: concrete pump comprises casing 1 connected with loading 2 and unloading 3 concrete ducts, pneumatic pipeline 4 and a revolving distributor installed in casing 1. Said distributor is shaped like a sleeve divided by partitions 6 into working 7 and ballast 8 segmental chambers. The lower part of casing 1 is provided with thrust projection 9 while distributor surface has mating projections 10. The revolving distributor has partition 11 dividing chamber 8 into two isolated ballast chambers 12 whose height is smaller than that of the sleeve. Concrete duct 2 is connected with upper part of casing 1 along the vertical axis. The mixture flows through concrete duct 2 into working chamber 7. Meanwhile, the mixture is forced out by air from the other chamber 7 into concrete duct 3. As chamber 7 becomes fully loaded and chamber 7 is emptied, this disturbs the equilibrium of the revolving distributor, the latter turns under the effect of gravity forces until mating projection 10 comes in contact with thrust projection 9 and is held there under the weight of chambers 12. As lower chamber 7 becomes emptied and the upper chamber 7 becomes full, the revolving distributor comes back to initial position. EFFECT: higher operating reliability of concrete pump achieved by reduced impact pulse of ballast material and by friction forces originated on turns of the distributor. 4 dwg
