FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: multi-stage metal casting is carried out under the low pressure. At each stage of the mold the sum of the input sectional areas of intermediate channels through which the feeders are powdered is less than the sectional area of the pouring channel. Thereby the metal flow at the input to the intermediate channels is subjected to the throttle control. Thus the rarefaction effects the metal after its entering the channels which results in the quick rise of the metal and in the simultaneous filling of cavities without turbulence. EFFECT: enhanced quality. 8 cl, 3 dwg
