FIELD: sawing and wood-working industry. SUBSTANCE: device has a bearing flange made with the exterior ring-shaped turning and with the helical thread and a movable flange with the interior ring-shaped turning and with the helical thread. The movable flange has holes located along the circumference and is selected according to the desired nominal size of the lumber. The movable and fixed flanges are connected with respect to the helical threads. The regulation of the controlled parameter (the thicknesses of the clamping sawing flanges) is achieved by means of displacing (cranking) the movable flange relative to the bearing one. After the final adjustment and checking of the controlled parameter the mutual position of the flanges is fixed by catches. If the hole center does not coincide with the catch axis, the movable flange is additionally turned around to some extent until the catch axis coincides with the nearest hole, and the catches are completely screwed in. EFFECT: enhanced percentage of the useful yield of the lumber and reduced percentage of the sawing up of the substandard lumber (technical defective products). 3 dwg
