FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: the process for inhibiting nitrification using pyrazole derivatives. The pyrazole derivatives include 5-methyl-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazole and the optimum application rates of the latter are 2-4 mg/kg/of soil. The process widens the assortment of modern effective nitrification inhibitors due to using a new class of chemical compounds as an inhibitor.
