FIELD: drying engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has housing 1 with drying chambers 2 and 3 and heating units. The chambers are in communication with systems for supplying 4 and discharging 5 of a material to be dried and system 6 for discharging gas-steam mixture. Driving shaft 7 is mounted inside hollow housing 1. Driving drums 8 and 9 are mounted on the shaft. Hoses 10 and 11 are wound on the drums in opposite directions. The free ends of the hoses are turn inside out. The bent edges of the ends are secured to the drying chambers 2 and 3 over periphery. Each heating unit is defined by the resilient hose. The spaces of housing 1 and hoses 10 and 11 are filled with a fluid. Resilient hoses 10 and 11 are unwound and wound on drums 8 and 9 alternatively by way of reverse rotation of driving shaft 7 resulting in rarefication and positive pressure in the drying zones alternatively. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 1 dwg
