FIELD: computer engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has housing, rotating drum with heads, which is mounted in housing, information carrier and mechanism for movement of information carrier with respect to drum with heads. Moving mechanism id implemented as transmission system having screw, which is connected to drum in coaxial and has outer surface for screwing, and carriage where information carrier is loaded. Carriage is mounted for engagement of its sides to outer surface of screw and for movement in guides of housing. Carrier of information can be represented as paper, polymer, metal, magnet or optical information carrier. Drum can have printing, thermal jet, piezoelectric jet, magnetic or optical heads.
