FIELD: machine building. SUBSTANCE: hydraulic drive for tightening crawler belt comprises relief hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic engines for laying tracks, "OR" valve. Relief cylinders interact with tightening wheel. The hydraulic cylinders are connected to hydraulic engines through "OR" valves to select and guide working liquid from hydraulic cylinders to pressure hydraulic lines of the hydraulic engines by displacing it out of cylinder cavities. Relief cylinder piston diameter is determined depending on the force generated by the hydraulic cylinder in the crawler belt, and the force on driving wheel of the drive.
