FIELD: coal stratum deposits development. SUBSTANCE: creation of thermodynamic mode of coal stratum treatment with sorbing coal, gas or mixture of different gasses, during which within optimal short time period maximum effective physical-chemical softening of coal with simultaneous decrease of consumption of pumped in stratum gas takes place. Temperature of coal stratum and pressure of saturating gas Pstr are measured and first they determine value of coal softening gas pressure under critical temperature and then value of gass pressure under temperature of stratum. Depending upon thermodynamic state of stratum they chose the most effective mode of its treatment with gas or mixture of gasses, sorbated by coal, that ensures physical-chemical softening of coal substance.
