FLEXIBLE SAFETY CLUTCH Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

Abstract RU 2047015 C1

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: clutch has driving clutch part and driven clutch part interconnected through flexible members made up as torsion springs. Pins are pressed into the driving clutch part. The torsion springs are mounted on the pins. Radial grooves with guide grooves are made in the driven clutch part over periphery. Rods are received in the radial grooves for permitting movement. Flywheels are rigidly secured to the rods. Pins and bars, which are in contact with the spring ends, are mounted on the rods for movement along the rods. One ends of the rods are provided with the right thread, and the other ends are provided with the left thread. When rods rotate, to change the torque transmitted, the pins and bars move in opposite directions. The locator made up as a nut is mounted on each rod. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 dwg
