FIELD: separation of gold. SUBSTANCE: method involves mixing gold-containing pulp with reagents and carbon-and-oil grains. The grain are separated by means of sifting and burned and gold-containing ash is obtained. The ash is melted into gold ingots. Hydrophobic finely divided material is added to the pulp in the amount of 5-10% by mass of grains, the material particles size being less than 0.05-0.1 mm. The mixture is stirred and delivered to the sieve. Carbon is used as finely divided hydrophobic material directly after its being crushed. EFFECT: reduced losses of graining substance; increased production output. 2 cl, 1 tbl
