FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: the product: carboxylates of oxyethylated isononylphenols. Externally it is a paste. The pH value is 6.5-7.5 the amount of carboxylate used is 66-81% The heat forming capacity is 150 mm. The foam stability is 0.8. Reagent 1: oxyethylated isononylphenol. Reagent 2: sodium monochloroacetate. Reaction conditions: the molar ratio of sodium monochloroacetate to oxyethylated isononylphenol is (0.8-1.0) to 1 at 45-50 C in the presence of an alkali agent such as crystalline sodium hydroxide in a molar ratio to oxyethylated isononylphenol of (0.8-1.0) to 1 in a nitrogen atmosphere till the pH of the reaction mixture reaches 6.5-7.5. EFFECT: more efficient preparation process.
