FIELD: natural resin processing. SUBSTANCE: method of galipot processing involves dilution with turpentine, melting with ortho-phosphoric acid addition followed by filtration, exfoliation and turpentine isolation, washing separated turpentine and its boiling down. Melting is carried out in the presence of sulfurous acid or sodium formaldehyde sulfoxylate at concentration 0.05-1.0% of galipot mass at the ratio of ortho-phosphoric acid to sulfurous acid or sodium formaldehyde sulfoxylate from 0.62:1 to 12.4:1, respectively. Turpentine washing is carried out with 0.01-0.1% alkaline aqueous solution at the liquid modulus (3-5):1. Invention can be used in colophony-turpentine plants of wood chemical industry at galipot processing. EFFECT: improved color index, prevention of colophony crystallization.
