FIELD: marine mining. SUBSTANCE: dredge includes a body with hinged jaws. A hydraulic cylinder with a rod and piston is kinematically coupled to the jaws. The hydraulic cylinder cavity is subdivided by the piston into compression chamber and chamber with a passage to supply working fluid. A pilot valve is used to shut off the passage. A cable is fastened to the body to carry out communication to service vessel. The body is provided with remotely controlled propellers, drive shafts of which are perpendicular to one another, and lie in horizontal plane. The bottom dredge is provided with additional hydraulic cylinders with rods installed on one side. The body is made in the form of skeleton. The hydraulic cylinders are installed symmetrically about, and perpendicular to lengthwise axis of the body. Kinematic coupling between hydraulic cylinders and jaws is made in the form of shaft with installed gears, jaws, and racks secured to rods of the hydraulic cylinders. Isolation cock of working fluid feed passage is made in the form of proof cylinder with stepped plunger. The plunger has a passage to pass the fluid, glands, compression chamber and stoppers. Control unit of the valve is made in the form of a propeller provided with weight to interact with sea bottom in the cause of launching and removing the bottom dredge. Working fluid is kept in an elastic tank provided with pipeline and plug cock to receive the fluid from hydraulic cylinders. The dredge may be provided with additional propellers with drive shafts installed vertically on the body. EFFECT: increased productivity. 2 cl, 8 dwg
