SUBSTANCE: magnesium-base alloy has the following qualitative and quantitative composition, mas. lithium 6.0-11.0; aluminium 1.0-6.0; cadmium 3.0-5.0; zinc 0.5-2.0; manganese 0.05-0.5; rare-earth metal 0.05- 0.15; yttrium 0.01-2.0; zirconium 0.001-0.1; beryllium 0.001-0.05; the balance, magnesium. Alloy properties: at 20 C ultimate strength 24.8-26.9 kgf/sq.mm; yield point 20.2-22.8 kgf/sq. mm; elongation 7.9-8.4% at 100 C ultimate strength 16.8-17.8 kgf/sq. mm; yield point 10.1-15.9 kgf/sq.mm; elongation 13.4-15.0% EFFECT: higher service properties. 1 tbl
