FIELD: production of knitted cloth. SUBSTANCE: method for knitting goods of weft-terry stitch structure by purl machine includes forming of loop course by needles in one of needle beds of purl machine and plush castings on baffle teeth of the other needle bed; transferring a part of needles, e. g. over other needle, to opposite needle bed in position without sinking of loops and forming casting of additional fitting yarn on them and on the remaining needles; laying weft yarn over fitting one and transferring all needles to one needle bed for forming next loop course.
