FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: mercuric chloride is dissolved in semidry white natural grape wine at sugar content 2.7-3.3% or in dry white wine in which sucrose is added preliminary at concentration 27-33 g/l. Then obtained solution is heated without opened fire access at 55 ± 5°C for 15-20 min, and mixture is kept at 5-10 C for 6-8 days. Cytostatic activity of mixture is shown in experiments on transplanted leukocyte malignant cultures, strain L-41. EFFECT: improved method of antitumor agent preparing.
