DRIVEN PILE Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: construction. SUBSTANCE: driven pile has prismatic body 1 pointed from below whose side faces have longitudinal recesses 2 expanding and deepening towards lower end of pile stem. Longitudinal recesses have cross-section in form of circular segment with chord located on side face, or in form of isosceles triangle whose base is located on side face. Recesses are made on, at least one body face. Length of longitudinal recesses equals up to 0.95 of body length, and depth, up to 0.25 of body width. Recesses for hanging pipes come out to pile point. Pile head has chamber 3 and spherical depression 4. Pile with longitudinal recesses permits reinforcement, both, in form of central prestressed rod, and in form of nonprestressed frame. Versions of recess location on body faces are offered. EFFECT: saved concrete, easy sinking in ground with preserved pile load-carrying capacity in ground. 3 cl, 12 dwg
