FIELD: drilling equipment. SUBSTANCE: disks of flexible member have sockets in form of a part of surface of revolution for accommodation of balls of flexible material. Surface of revolution is made in form of sphere with radius equal to ball radius and socket depth is selected with consideration of ball diameter D_b from relation h/D_b=01 to 0.25. Presence of sockets in disks provides for continuous growth of contact area of ball with disk in the course of deformation of rubber ball with rising axial load. Sockets allow reduction of load exerted on spline unit. EFFECT: higher efficiency of operation due to lineralization of working characteristics of flexible member and unloading of torque transmission unit. 2 cl, 3 dwg
