FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: mower has a suction device comprised of a converging tube consisting of air stream side guides, upper surface, and lower base. The converging tube has inlet and outlet openings. The cutterbar is disposed in front of the converging tube inlet opening in the plane of the lower base. The upper surface of the converging tube between the outlet and inlet openings is concave towards the longitudinal axis of the converging tube and descends towards the outlet opening. The lower point of this surface at the level of the inlet opening is not lower than the transverse horizontal axis of said inlet opening.
