FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves removal of the above-surface part and root system of every second plant in a garden where fruit-bearing trees or bushes shade one another. Prior to the beginning of the vegetation period, containers for growing and transportation of seedlings are placed on earthened-up stubs of valuable parent plants selected by the method of clone selection. The containers are half-filled with nutritive substrate. Every container has a body, side walls, and a grate bottom with rigid cells 8-9 mm in diameter. When shoots growing in the containers are 25-30 cm in height, they are thinned and earthened-up. To this end, some substrate is added, and the tops remain uncovered. The nutritive substrate is a mixture of minerals and organic matter enriched with nutrients and containing communal wastes. The ratios of ingredients are the following (% mass): peat 20-35, sand 25-30, ash 0.2-0.3, liquid complex fertilizer (10-34-0) 0.1-0.2, communal sludge the rest. The seedlings with clods are transported in the containers to the site of planting. The cycle is reiterated every year with multiple use of the aforesaid valuable parent plants. EFFECT: improved growing conditions. 5 cl, 1 dwg, 2 tbl
