FIELD: agriculture; tools. SUBSTANCE: pruner has cutting knife 2 and shear knife 3 with handles 4 and 5. The knives are joined together by means of hinge 1. The pruner is provided with return spring 6. Handle 4 is attached to knife 2 by means of hinge 7. The handle is provided with retainer 8 that retains it in its position. On the side of handle 4 the end-face of knife 2 is concave radius profiled to contact with the same radius convex end-face of the retainer. The latter is mounted on handle 4 by means of hinge 11. The axle of the hinge is dislocated eccentrically relative to the radius surface center. Retainer 8 is provided with bulge 12 to be controlled by a finger of the operator, and the opposite side of the retainer rests on spring 6. The radius end-faces of knife 2 and retainer 8 are serrated. A bulge profiled for convenient operation by a finger of the hand of the operator is provided on the handle on its external side. The design ensures a best convenient angle of opening of the handles. EFFECT: higher efficiency; lower consumption of muscular energy. 3 cl, 3 dwg
