FIELD: hydroacoustics. SUBSTANCE: device is provided with synchronizer 1, indicator 11 connected to its output, radiating transducer 3, receiving transducer 4 to whose output the following parts are connected in parallel: first filter 5, first amplifier-limiter 2, frequency doubler 8, second filter 6 and second amplifier-limiter 9 which are connected in series. Device is also provided with radio pulse shaper 2 with amplitude-modulated filling which is connected between synchronizer 1 and radiating transducer 3 and phase detector 10 whose first input is connected to output of frequency doubler 8 and second input is connected to output of second amplifier-limiter 9; its output is connected with input of indicator 11. EFFECT: increased range of detection, possibility of classification of objects which are located at small distances from radiating transducer; possibility of classification of objects in high-viscous media; possibility of classification of objects at arbitrary magnitude of phase of reflection factor. 3 dwg
