FIELD: fiber-optic communication systems. SUBSTANCE: group of rods is formed to get a pack with common central space, into which lightguide is glued in. The other rod pack is mounted above the first one. Sizes of rods of the second pack are determined by diameter of cylindrical surface which describes the assembly. The cylindrical surface excesses over diameter of adjusting hole of socket. After the rods are connected together permanently, the surfaces of the rods are polished to form flat faces, which are moved apart the axis of optical fiber for distance, being correspondent to radius of adjusting hole of the socket.
