FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: monochromatic acoustic radiation source is mounted onto movable object. The source radiates in working frequency range with amplitude, which excesses amplitude of spectral components of acoustic vibrations of object significantly. During motion of object Doppler frequency shift of monochromatic acoustic signal is measured, as well as radial speed of motion of the object. Desired frequency scale is formed then for acoustic vibration spectrum, which vibrations are radiated by movable object. EFFECT: improved precision of measurement. 2 cl, 4 dwg
