FIELD: quantity-produced wood-working machines. SUBSTANCE: valve-type electric motor has amplitude-time converter 1 whose current regulator 14 is connected between output of rectifier 13 and main input of integrator 15; converter also has inverting servo coupling assembly 19 whose inputs are connected to outputs of polarity selector switches 9,10 and its output is connected to control input of current regulator 14. In the course of operation, integrator 15 carries optimal current that can be regulated because in such connection current regulator 14 functions as linear variable resistor which ensures optimal angle of commutation for switches. EFFECT: improved reliability of valve-type motor of both slotted and slotless models throughout entire range of motor currents and high variation of rotor speed. 4 cl, 6 dwg
