FIELD: shock absorbers. SUBSTANCE: shock absorber has base and platforms, which are connected together by means of hinge, made in form of two conjugated rollers. The rollers are made in form of hyperboloid of revolution and mounted in perpendicular one to the other for revolution. Energy-absorbing coating is applied onto surfaces of the rollers, which coating is made in form of fragments of textile fastener. Roller may be made of elastic material. The roller may have restricting flanges and rollers. EFFECT: improved exploitation capabilities; improved protection against shock loads at horizontal plane, preferably. 3 cl, 4 dwg
