FIELD: locking devices. SUBSTANCE: coding device used in a lock comprises a case with lengthwise openings with blocking pins and balls placed in the openings; a key hole for key plate with coding openings; a bolt with crosswise blind openings with placed spring loaded pins in the openings; and an aperture for code card. Support pins placed in openings in the case are coaxial with openings for blocking pins and are the extension of the latter from the side opposite to the key hole. Not less than one ball is placed between blocking and support pins. Code card is made in the form of pressure piece, for example, code plank/key placed beneath the support pins. Openings in the code plank/key are originated blind, and the depth of them equals ball diameter. EFFECT: high reliability. 2 cl, 4 dwg
