FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: boiler unit is provided with gas recirculation duct fitted with smoke exhauster to which discharge of air flowing from zones of radial seals of regenerative air heater is connected; pressure duct of air heater is connected through additional air heater to zones of axial seals of air compartment of regenerative air heater; air duct of additional air heater is connected to hot air duct running from regenerative air heater whose resistance does not exceed resistance of regenerative air heater. Connection of air duct of additional air heater to hot air duct running from regenerative air heater makes it possible to bypass part of air which is heated in additional air heater, thus reducing the aerodynamic resistance of regenerative air heater which is sealed by supercharging with gases from recirculation duct which are cooled in additional air heater.
